Children’s Parade
Friday, July 16, 2010, 6:00 p.m.
Downtown Duncan
Calling all kids! Dress up and come parade with us! Decorate your bike or your wagon, too!
There are prizes for best costume, with both single and group entries considered. Every child receives a participation ribbon and a goody bag. Ice Cream and parade marshalling is generously provided by the Duncan Volunteer Fire Department.
The Best Entry Overall Prize will include a ride in the Grand Parade the following day on the Duncan-Cowichan Summer Festival float!
Marshalling of the Children’s Parade begins at 5:30 pm, at the corner of Kenneth St and Ingram St. Parade kick-off is at 6:00 pm. Participants march down Kenneth St and stop in front of City Hall.
