Cowichan Valley Museum & Archives at the Train Station in Downtown Duncan
As rich in history as it is in beauty, the picturesque Cowichan Valley is located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Its commercial centre, Duncan, has its roots in the 1886 rural settlement of Duncan’s Crossing, also known as Alderlea. Come and enjoy the fascinating history of the Cowichan Valley at the Museum.

We have an 1880s logging camp complete with two black-smith shops and school, and that's just the beginning. Ride the Discovery Train and ask the conductor what the train whistle means. Visit the indoor & outdoor exhibits and climb the Lookout Tower for a great view.
